Google Maps for Vcard (vcf) files

I just had to try the google maps api! And I'm interested in everything with gps, coordinates and so on. So when I found the service that let me geocode my addressbook, I added the latitude and longitude to most of my contacts. But how to display them on a map? Add them as waypoints to Gpsylon or try the new google map api? Although I'm the author of the first, I went for the second solution. A quick search on google how it is done, some lines of php code - and voila: http://www.tegmento.org/mapvcard allows you to upload vcard files (with one or more vcards inside) and display the names of your contacts in the correct place. The service does not do the georeference your addresses, the latitude/longitude needs to be set before! See the demo vcard file, how the coordinates are stored in a vcard entry or use an addressbook that knows how to do it (e.g. kontact for kde). Find the coordinates with the service from Maporama.

Have fun
